Prerequisites

Before you begin, make sure you have:

• An active Shopify store (Development stores work too)
• Admin access to your Shopify store

Installation

Follow these steps to install Advance Discount Function:

1. Visit the Shopify App Store.
2. Search for “Advance Discount Function”.
3. Click “Add app” and authorize the requested permissions.
4. The app automatically installs 4 discount functions on your store:
   • Conditional Discount Function
   • Tiered Discount Function
   • Buy X Get Y Discount Function
   • Bundle Discount Function
5. Choose a billing plan. The Starter plan includes a 7-day free trial.

What You Get After Installation

Once the app is installed, you have access to:

App Dashboard

The app dashboard in Shopify Admin shows:

• Active discounts — A list of all discounts using Advance Discount Function.
• Rule groups — An overview of the rules you have configured.
• Plan tier — Your current billing plan and available features.

Discount Functions

All 4 function types become available when creating discounts in Shopify Admin. They appear alongside Shopify’s native discount options, so you can choose the right type for each promotion.

Creating Your First Discount

1. Go to Shopify Admin and navigate to Discounts in the left sidebar.
2. Click “Create discount”.
3. Choose either “Automatic discount” or “Discount code”.
4. In the app section, select one of the 4 Advance Discount Function types.
5. Use the built-in rule builder UI to configure your conditions, targets, and discount values.
6. Click “Save” to activate your discount.
